What to do if someone is having a SEIZURE (Fit)?

A seizure is a sudden, uncontrolled, electrical disturbance in the brain. (2)
What steps to take when someone’s having a seizure?
DO NOT TOUCH, STOP OR GET NEAR TO THE VICTIM DURING THE SEIZURE
If anyone is having seizures, you need to protect them for harming themselves during the fit,
Clear away any potential dangerous objects like hot drinks or sharp objects
Don’t restrain them or move them, make a note of time when seizures started and how long it lasts.
Protect their head by placing Something soft underneath or around it like a towel or loosening any clothing around their neck.
Once seizures has stopped, open airway and check their Breathing. If they’re breathing put them into recovery position

If they aren’t breathing, perform CPR.

There are things you shouldn't do :
Don't try to hold their arms or legs with force.
Don't try to put anything in their mouth ( I have heard that putting an upside down spoon will prevent tongue bite but I have never read it anywhere so it's probably best to avoid experimenting amidst a crisis )
Don't try to force any medicines or water if the patient is semi or unconscious. It'll end up in the lungs and do no good. (1)
How to know if someone is having seizure?
Victim’s body gets:

Suddenly unresponsive
Rigid body
Arched back
Noisy, difficult breathing
Convulsive movements
Saliva at the mouth
Loss of bladder or bowel control
After they could fall into a deep sleep
Let’s get to know what causes seizures in someone:
Causes might be:
Epilepsy
Alcohol poisoning
Lack of oxygen
After a head injury
After taking certain drugs
Low sugar level
How can you prevent an epileptic seizures?
Take your medications on time, DO NOT MISS ANY and also DO NOT OVERDOSE as well.
Finding triggering factor of seizures can help reducing it.
You need to keep healthy balance of diet, drinks and exercise.
As it is necessary to have good physical health, it is also important that you need to maintain your mental health.
Avoid overworking and get proper sleep.
Avoid excessive consumption of alcohol, If you are having a problem quitting then at least keep the consumption in moderation. The same goes for drugs. Even taking one small step towards quitting is half step near winning
